What? Conclave/February DCM!

Who’s Invited? Region 17 Key Clubbers and Advisors (12E, 12S, 12W, 34N, 34S, 43)
When? February 13th (10am-2pm)
Where? AMD Center
991 Stewart Dr.
Sunnyvale, CA 94085
Cost? $4 pre-registration, $5 at the door
Dress Code? Business Professional, Casual is NOT ALLOWED.
 Ladies: blouse, pencil skirt/slacks, heels/flats, blazer and tie optional
Gents: dress shirt, tie, jacket/blazer, slacks, dress shoes, black socks, vest optional
Details: Vote for your next Division 12 South 2010-2011 Lieutenant Governor!  There will be rounds of speeches and caucusing, February DCM, food and more! Registration forms will be out soon and will be due no later than Thursday, February 11th!! By popular demand, the club report theme is a lovey dovey serenade.<3

IMPORTANT: Each club needs to have 2 delegates with a maximum of 6 attendees.  Please choose two of your attendees to serve as delegates who will vote for the next Lt. Governor. YOUR CLUB’S ATTENDANCE IS CRITICAL TO HOLD A SUCCESSFUL ELECTION.

Attention all Key Clubbers!

I’m really sorry about the last minute change but January DCM/MR. KEY CLUB PAGEANT has been relocated to

Santa Teresa Hills Presbyterian Church
5370 Snell Avenue
San Jose, CA 95123

Doors will still open at 4:00pm and will still cost $3.

Other than that, here is a message from Santa Teresa Key Club that may help your Home Club Contestant grab some extra points!
We are going to be launching a Aeropostale’s Teen for Jeans drive with STKC, so we would like to  request that attendees bring old jeans they might not want anymore. (Basically, it’s collecting jeans for homeless teens and kids in Haiti.) For each jean donated, judges will award the contestant of the donator’s choice another point. We would also like to emphasize that we don’t want to have any messes, so please leave food outside. We will be selling water for .75 cents, and we will also be auctioning Nico Jimenez’s drawings for our RFL fundraising if anybody is interested (maybe like fifty cents a pop).

» MR. KEY CLUB PAGEANT/JANUARY DCM!

January DCM!
What? Mr. Key Club Pageant
Who’s Invited? D12S Key Clubbers, advisors
When? January 22nd (4:00pm-8:00pm)
Where? Santa Teresa High School (Theatre)

Presidents, please provide headcounts with the following:
1. School
2. Number of Contestants
3. Number of Attendees
4. Name and Phone Number of Advisors (12 key clubbers to 1 advisor)
5. Number of newsletter/agendas you want printed
6. What we should talk about for PCM?  (LTG Candidates are welcome to attend)

Here is some super important January DCM information! I hope this may clear up any grey areas regarding the event and that you will attend! If there’s any questions, please feel free to email me at stkcpresident@gmail.com. (: If you are a contestant, I will need your photos and brief bio submitted by this Thursday, January 14that 11:59 pm. The bio should include a small blurb about yourself, your likes, your dislikes, etc. Just three or so sentences shall do. Presidents, please encourage your club members to do this immediately.

There will be a 1st place, 2nd place, 3rd place, three separate placements. The first place winner will receive a tiara, sash, bouquet, and surprise gift! Other placements will receive similar prizes. All participants will also be awarded with small tokens of appreciation. (: Come on and show some school spirit! Who knows, maybe you will be the next Mr. Key Club!

Hey guys, here’s a message from Oak Grove Key Club regarding DECEMBER DCM.

Hey Supervillains!


You’re invited to join us for a Christmas themed December DCM!

What? DECEMBER DCM!
Who’s invited? Division 12 South & Guests!
When: Friday, Dec. 11 (6PM-9PM)
Where: Oak Grove High School’s small gym
285 Blossom Hill Rd.  San Jose 95123

Activities:

- Wii Mario & Sonic Winter Olympics tournament
- Gingerbread House CONTEST! ($10)
- Ornament Decorating ($2)
- Mistletoe Pictures
- Cupcake Walk (kind of like musical chairs)
-       White Elephant! (gift exchange)

Other attractions:

- Gingerbread house (almost life size)
- Fireplace scene
- Christmas tree!

ADMISSION: In the spirit of giving, we request that attendees PLEASE bring canned food (1 can or more), and we will donate it to Second Harvest Food Bank. The individual who brings the MOST cans will receive either a 2009 RTC Pokemon T-shirt OR an old school Key Club shirt from the 1990s. Bring some extra money to do the activities too!

Attire: It’s Christmas theme so wear green, red, & your santa hat!

Other Information:  The DCM will be held at 8:30 and THE CLUB REPORT THEME IS HOLIDAY SONG!!!
If you want to participate in WHITE ELEPHANT, please bring a gift that costs no more than $5.
